Peter
Bussian has been a documentary photographer for
more than 15 years and has photographed refugee/relief
situations in many regions of the world, including Central
America, the Balkans, Southeast Asia, Central Asia,
Africa and the Middle East. Throughout that time he
has also maintained an events and portrait business
in New York City. Since 2001 he has spent more than
two years working in Afghanistan and Iraq.
His
clients are mainly UN agencies, USAID contractors, NGOs
and several newspapers and magazines. A complete list

Bussian studied filmmaking in New York at Columbia University
and at the Anthropology Film Center in Santa Fe, New
Mexico. He holds a BA in history and anthropology from
the University of Colorado and is a native of Jamestown,
Colorado.
